Tuesday 15th September - Beach Clean
Event: Monthly wellbeing beach clean, organised by the Clean Earth Trust. Anyone is welcome to join free of charge, and equipment is provided.
Time: 1pm - 3pm
Location: At Portelet, meet at the end of the slipway running down to beach from the kiosk

Wednesday 16th September - RSPB bird walk
Event: Bird walk around the lanes of St Peters and the Silbe nature reserve, with the local RSPB group.
Time: 10am
Location: Meet in the car park of Longfrie Inn (parking by kind permission of the owners). We will walk through the lanes to the Silbe Reserve.

Thursday 17th September - Marine Protected Area research & implementation in Jersey, a presentation with Sam Blampied
Event: join us at Frossard Theatre for a live webinar about Marine Protected Area's from Dr Sam Blampied.
Attendance is free and open to all. This is a joint event between the Nature Commission, Marine Section of La Société Guernesiaise and Blue Marine Foundation.

Saturday 19th September - La Société Guided Bird Walk
Event: Guided bird walk with La Société Guernesiaise Ornithology section, at Pre D’Enfer nature reserve on Rue des Bergers.
Time: 9am - 11am
Location: Meet in the car park of Longfrie Inn (parking by kind permission of the owners). We will walk through the lanes to the Silbe Reserve.

Event: Come along for a talk about Seagrass with PhD student Caroline Millan, from the University of Plymouth. Free and open to all. This is a joint event between the Nature Commission, Marine Section of La Société Guernesiaise and Blue Marine Foundation.

Tuesday 29th - People's Emergency Briefing, Guernsey
Event: join a Clean Earth Trust supported screening of The People’s Emergency Briefing—a film bringing together leading experts and the latest evidence on key concerns:
- Food prices and local security
- Changing health risks, including tropical diseases spreading through France to our shores
- The wider impacts of a hotter climate on our natural environment

Wednesday 14th October- the state of our marine environment, a talk by Charlotte Burgoine
Event: Join us for a talk about the marine side of Guernsey's natural environment, presented by the Nature Commission Ecologist, Charlotte Burgoine. This presentation discusses the state of our marine habitats and species in Guernsey and Herm. Coastal areas within the Bailiwick of Guernsey have been found to support higher marine biodiversity, due to the diversity of habitats present and the habitat complexity they provide. Drivers of change for those habitats and species, and information on what we can do to help will also be discussed.
